If your kid has lice, his/her peers probably do too! Notifying them isn’t just kind—it’s also the best way to ensure that your kids don’t get lice again. (You can have lice an unlimited number of times—your body builds no immunity).
Schools do not support lice prevention like they used to—so it’s up to YOU. (Read more on our Advocate page). A community can’t stop the spread of lice unless families know that lice is spreading.
The stigma around lice is pervasive—the way to change the stigma is to start talking about lice!
